Dedicated to the memory of all the men and women of the Bridgnorth area who died during the two World Wars.
There are two memorials at Claverley. Inside the church is a carved stone memorial to the Great War dead, to which have been added five names from the Second World War. In the church porch is a carved stone Roll of Honour listing all the men of the village who fought in the Great War. There is also an outdoor War Memorial and Roll of Honour in the parish at Chyknell.

This memorial has mostly been compiled from official sources. It would be good to be able to expand it with more personal material - memories, stories, photos, etc. If you have any suitable material or any corrections please contact Greg. For news of updates follow @BridgnorthHeros on Twitter.
